Grunge started to emerge in the mid-80’s out of the Northwest that mixed the sound of heavy guitars, 70’s influences along with a punk kind of vibe. It quickly spread from the Northwest to across the country, then across the world. The sometimes haunting lyrics became a voice of a generation and generations to come. Call it grunge, call it rock rock n roll, call it whatever you like, but I call it badass.
